I collaberated on a zine with my good friend Tomas. The zine was inspired by the book titled Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino. It came out amazing and I had a blast working on it.
These images were for Digital Illustration. They are a continuation of the meet pay love images I posted earlier. They don't feel finished to me, so I may go back into them.
I made a twitter account at 5 in the morning. Why you ask? My motion graphics teacher said its a good way to get in touch with industry people. So we will see what happens. Search xland333 if ya wanna find me.
Here are the two pages for my class zine project. I redid the first image. The image from post 1 of 2 ( http://chrishegland.blogspot.com/2009/11/1-0f-2.html), is no longer in the zine. Instead I created top image.
I have never had more fun paging threw a magazine until I by accident found this add. The world would be a better place if we had this great of advertising all the time.
I painted the front windows at the GameStop I work at, for the midnight launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Sorry for the bad picture. I'll post the day shots later.
This is an mock-up article for Wired magazine. I was told to make a half page illustration and 2 quarter page illustrations. I decided to do a full lay out because I can. The colors were inspired by Days of Thunder. Enjoy.
Here are the three different images I did for digital illustration. The bottom one is just a sketch and the top one will be on display at the Spyhouse coffee shop (link below), starting Nov. 5th.
Here are some reworks, and my other concept for the same project that did not get selected. I went ahead and did them anyway because I liked them so much.
Sorry for the late post, but here is Roadtrip. This project turned out to be very hard to finish. I will be dropping them into a lay out in a couple of days. Enjoy.
