Here is the second sketch. I was much more happy with this one. Not as controlled as the other. Then I did some pencil test for fire, which led to the idea of adding the burned paper look. I worked out the text and burn placements.

Process from Hell! Part 1.

I drew my buddy a pic for his birthday. The idea behind it was to make my version of the 3DS game, Nintendogs. NINDEATHDOGS! HELLHOUND ED. Here is the first version, sketch and final with out text. After I was done inking I wasn't feel'n it. It wasn't mean enough. So I started over.
